Chris Young Pleased To Be Part Of Adoption TV Special

Chris Young says he's glad he was able to take part in the TV special, "A Home For The Holidays With Celine Dion."  The country star says as a vocalist it's impossible to not admire Celine, and the show gave him the opportunity to not only meet her but watch her perform in person.

Chris adds that his own Christmas traditions revolve around family, and he appreciates how in promoting adoption the special helps kids get the chance to have a family and create holiday traditions of their own.  Young will debut his new single, "Who I Am With You," on the show.  "A Home For The Holidays With Celine Dion" also features R&B star Ne-Yo, along with inspirational stories about the ways adoption has enhanced the lives of both children in need of a home and the families who have welcomed them.  The hour-long special airs on CBS Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

Garth Brooks To Play New Music During 2014 Tour

Garth Brooks isn't just busy planning his upcoming tour.  He's also working on new material.  The country superstar tells Minneapolis, Minnesota's Buz'n 102.9 that his shows will feature "the stuff you know Garth from and all the new stuff that's coming."  He adds that there are no words to convey just how excited he is to be bringing fresh music to the stage on a new tour, and he hopes his fans enjoy the new songs as much as his hits.  However, he doesn't say if or when a new album might be on the way.

Brooks also says his tour announcement really was spontaneous.  He unveiled his plans unexpectedly during a recent appearance on "Good Morning America" to promote his new box set.  Garth explains that it just felt like the right moment.  He adds that revealing his plans gave him a huge sense of relief -- along with concerns that he'd just made a big mistake.  He says he immediately looked over to his publicist, Nancy, who was there off-camera, and was thrilled to see she was "just glowing."  Dates for Brooks' 2014 world tour haven't been announced yet.

Taylor Swift Among Most-Searched People On Google

Taylor Swift has generated a lot of interest this year.  The country-pop superstar is landing in the top ten on another "most-searched people" list.  She's ranking seventh on Google's rundown for the year.  Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter, Miley, has the number one spot, followed by rapper Drake and Kim Kardashian.  Justin Bieber and Beyonce round out the top five.  Swift was also the subject of a lot of searches on Bing this year.  She ranked fourth on that search engine's "most-searched people" list, behind Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, and Rihanna.

Luke Bryan Shares How He Maintains His Marriage

Luke Bryan says he really enjoys his morning coffee.  But it has nothing to do with getting a caffeine jolt.  The country star tells "Good Housekeeping" it's his "favorite time of the day," because it's a daily opportunity for him and his wife, Caroline, to just be together and talk.  Luke also shows Caroline how much he cares in other ways.  He explains that they "do little nights out together," and one year for Valentine's Day they tattooed each other's initials on their ring fingers.  The singer also says he gives Caroline a foot rub every night at bedtime.  Bryan adds that when he's not on tour he tries to "really be home" and prioritize his family, which includes their young sons Bo and Tate.  But Luke admits another secret to his happy marriage involves something he doesn't do.  He says he won't ever tell Caroline how much money he spends on fishing.

Country Singer Danielle Peck Engaged

Danielle Peck is toasting her own success in "findin' a good man."  And the country star, who scored a hit with the song "Findin' A Good Man," is now marking her accomplishment with a ring.  She's engaged to music producer Josh Smith, and has posted a picture on Facebook of the sizable rock now weighing down her hand.  Danielle tells "Country Music Chat" she met Josh at last year's surprise birthday party for Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas, and they've "been inseparable ever since."  She adds that she "knew within the first 24 hours that he was 'The One.'"  The singer says Josh popped the question last Thursday.  She explains that he re-created their first date, and then got down on one knee as asked her to "make his dream come true."  Danielle and Josh haven't announced a wedding date as yet.

Aaron Tippin Becomes Flight Instructor For His Son

Aaron Tippin isn't just a country star and a pilot.  The singer is a certified flight instructor as well.  And he earned his certification for a very specific reason -- to sign his son's logbook after the teenager finished his first solo flight.  Aaron tells "Country Weekly" he's proud that his son is carrying on the family's "tradition of aviation."  He explains that his dad was a pilot who signed his logbook when he made his first solo flight on his 16th birthday.  Ted had hoped to do the same, but had to wait an extra day to follow in his father's footsteps.  He intended to take his flight on his 16th birthday last Saturday, but bad weather kept him grounded until Sunday.

T.G. Sheppard, Kelly Lang Release Duets Album

T.G. Sheppard and Kelly Lang are taking their marriage into the studio.  The country couple teamed up for the new album "Iconic Duets."  The collection includes covers of classics such as Johnny and June Carter Cash's "Jackson."

Kelly says she and T.G. "had a blast" recording the album.  She tells Billboard.com they chose songs they believe their fans "would be able to connect with and enjoy."  Other tracks include the George Jones-Tammy Wynette duet "Golden Ring" and the Kenny Rogers-Dolly Parton hit "Islands in the Stream" -- which Lang says got a "thumbs up" from the song's writer, Barry Gibb.  Sheppard and Lang's "Iconic Duets" is available now.

Eli Young Band Score Third Number One

The Eli Young Band is once again on top.  The band has another number one hit to their credit with "Drunk Last Night," which has reached the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart.  It's the Eli Young Band's third number one single.  After logging back-to-back chart-toppers with "Crazy Girl" and "Even If It Breaks Your Heart," the group seemed to miss the mark with "Say Goodnight," which never cracked the top 20.  "Drunk Last Night" is the lead-off single to the band's next album.

"Drunk Last Night" is bumping Parmalee's "Carolina" out of the top spot, which is also a small chart milestone.  Billboard.com says it's the first time in two years that different groups have led the list in consecutive weeks.  The last time it happened was in December 2011, when Zac Brown Band's "Keep Me In Mind" captured the number one spot from Lady Antebellum's "We Owned The Night."

Holidays Are Big At Tim McGraw's House
