Report: Jason Aldean Dating Woman From Photo Scandal

Jason Aldean is reportedly dating the woman who sparked his marriage-ending scandal.  Both "Us Weekly" and TMZ.com say the country star and former "American Idol" finalist Brittany Kerr are now an item.  They're said to have started their relationship last spring, after Jason filed for divorce from his wife, Jessica Ussery.  Aldean's marital problems became public 18 months ago, when flirtatious photos of him and Kerr surfaced online.  At the time Aldean apologized, saying he "had too much to drink" and "acted inappropriately," but also pointed out that he left the West Hollywood bar alone.

Jason and Jessica had been married for nearly 12 years, and have two children together.  They spent the rest of 2012 in an unsuccessful attempt to save their relationship.  They separated in January 2013, and Aldean took the steps to formally end his marriage that April.

Frankie Ballard Tops Chart For First Time

Frankie Ballard says his "heart is overflowing" with happiness over his first number one hit.  The country star's latest single "Helluva Life," has topped both the Mediabase/Country Aircheck and the Billboard Country Airplay chart.  The song is also Frankie's fastest rising single of his career, and is approaching the 400-thousand mark in digital sales.  "Helluva Life" is the lead-off single from Ballard's second studio album, "Sunshine & Whiskey."  The singer will perform the song as a guest on NBC's "Today" on April 2nd.

And now Frankie needs to make an appointment with his tailor.  He recently told "Country Weekly" if "Helluva Life" went to number one he would celebrate by buying "a full-on Manuel suit," because he thought it would be "cool" to commemorate his first number one country hit with "something so country."

Brandy Clark To Appear On "Ellen" This Week

Brandy Clark says she's "so excited" about her upcoming appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."  The new country singer will make her debut on the syndicated talk show this Thursday.  On the show Brandy will perform her single "Stripes" -- the song Ellen danced to in the Beats Music Super Bowl commercial.  Brandy says it was "incredible" to have her song featured in the ad along with DeGeneres, and she's thrilled to now have the chance to meet Ellen and sing "Stripes" on her show.  "Stripes" is on Clark's critically-acclaimed 2013 debut "12 Stories."  The singer is supporting the album on the road, opening shows for Jennifer Nettles.

Trisha Yearwood Credits Cooking Show, Age For Helping Live Show

Trisha Yearwood says her current tour is the most fun she can "ever remember having" on the road.  And she credits that to her cooking show and her age.  The country star tells CMT she's always felt at ease in front of an audience, but since she started "Trisha's Southern Kitchen" she's become "a lot more comfortable on stage."  She explains that the show is "very ad lib" because "the recipes are the script," which she likes because "it comes off more natural."  Trisha adds that on her show she's "always talking and talking and talking," and she believes that has helped her live show.

But Yearwood thinks being 49 makes a difference as well.  She says at this age "you start to lose the filter," and she's found it's "kind of freeing to just be yourself."  Trisha is now on her first tour in five years.  The next stop on her "Just Because" trek is coming up in Austin, Texas on March 26th.

Bill Anderson Taps Willie Nelson For Latest Album

Bill Anderson says he's really pleased to have Willie Nelson on his latest album, "Life."  The country star explains that he tapped Nelson to play on the song "Bubba Garcia's."

Bill teamed up with Jamey Johnson and Buddy Cannon to write "Bubba Garcia's," which was originally slated to be recorded by George Strait.  But when two years passed and the track never made it onto a Strait album, Bill decided to record the song himself.  "Bubba Garcia's" is the lead-off track to "Life," which Anderson released last fall.

Miranda Lambert Excited About Her 30s

Miranda Lambert says she's "really excited to be 30."  The country star, who reached the milestone birthday last November, tells "Spin" magazine she didn't do anything special to celebrate.  She says she "literally sat" at home with husband Blake Shelton and had dinner.  Lambert adds that she thinks that's "an indication" of how the upcoming decade will go for her -- and she's looking forward to it.  Miranda explains that "in your 20s you're kind of running around trying to figure out who you are and screaming out, 'Listen to me, I have something to say!'"  She says she's eager to become more introspective and learn more about herself -- which she's already started doing with her upcoming album "Platinum."  Lambert's new disc, which features her current single, "Automatic," will be in stores on June 3rd.

Eric Paslay Opening Up More As Confidence Grows

Eric Paslay says he's glad he's becoming more of "a goofball."  The Texas-born country singer explains that it's taken him a while to feel comfortable around others in Nashville.

But Eric admits that while his confidence has grown he's still "pretty reserved and quiet" when he first meets someone.  He says he'll start to share more of himself "after a few times of hanging out."  Success might have played a role in Eric's confidence level as well.  His single "Friday Night" topped the chart last month to become his first number one hit as a performer.  Eric's new single is "Song About A Girl."  Both tracks are from Paslay's self-titled debut album.

Tim McGraw Shares Admiration For Bruce Springsteen

Tim McGraw has nothing bad to say about Bruce Springsteen.  The country star says he has a great deal of admiration for Bruce on all levels.

McGraw and Springsteen are both on the bill for the upcoming March Madness Music Festival in Dallas -- but they're playing on different days.  Tim will perform at the event on April 5th while Springsteen is the April 6th headliner.  Tim also helped honor Bruce as last year's MusiCares Person of the Year.  He was one of many stars who paid tribute to Springsteen at the 2013 Grammy event.  The concert will be released on DVD on March 25th.
