Flooding, Downed Trees, Downed Utility Poles Closing Area Roads

Update @ 2:30 p.m.

Hollidaysburg – A number of roads throughout the region are closed by downed trees, downed utility poles and flooding being caused by Hurricane Sandy.

Blair County

Route 4018 (Riggles Gap Road) is closed because of a downed tree from the intersection of Antis Road to the intersection of Old Sixth Avenue Road in Antis Township.

Route 4025 (Grazierville Road) is closed due to a downed tree from the intersection of Tipton Road to the intersection of Rossman Road in Antis Township.

Now Open:

Route 2022 (Juniata Valley Road) which was closed due to flooding from the intersection of William Penn Highway to the intersection of William Penn Highway in Frankstown Township.

Route 3005 (Lower Claar Road) which was closed due to a downed utility from the intersection of Smokey Run Road to the intersection of Ski Gap Road in Greenfield Township.

Route 1011 (Turkey Valley Road) in Blair County which was closed because of a downed tree. The road was closed form the intersection of Canoe Creek Road to the intersection of Mattern Road in Frankstown Township.

Route 4017 (Wopsy Road/Juniata Gap Road) which was closed due to a downed utility from the intersection of Good Shepard Road to the intersection of Castle Farms in Logan Township.

Bedford County

Route 4027 (Shellsburg Road/Scrubgrass Road) is closed due to a downed utility from the intersection of Scrubgrass Road to the intersection of Beaver Dam Road in Kimmel Township.

Route 96 is closed due to a downed utility from the intersection of Chestnut Street/Grasshopper Street in New Paris Borough to the intersection of Bowser Road in West St Clair Township.

Route 4013 (Crissman Road) is closed due to flooding from the intersection of Cortland Road to the intersection of Crissman Road/Dunning Creek Drive in West St Clair Township.

Route 2019 (Lutzville Road) is closed due to flooding from the intersection of AshcomRoad  in Snake Spring Township to the Route 30 East exit in Everett

Now Open:

Route 3003 (Lake Gordon Road) which was closed due to a downed utility from the intersection of Lake Gordon Road to the intersection of Bud Shuster Highway in Cumberland Valley Township.

Fulton County

Now Open:

Route 3011 (Pigeon Cove Road) which was closed due to a downed utility from the intersection of Alpine Road in Bethel Township to the intersection of Great Cove Road in Belfast Township.

Huntingdon County

Route 2017 (Blacklog Valley Road) is closed due to flooding from the intersection of Peterson Road in Cromwell Township to the intersection of Sheets Drive in Cromwell Township.

Route 1017 (Martin Gap Road) is closed due to flooding from the intersection of Geisler Run Road in Miller Township to the intersection of Standing Stone Road in Miller Township.

Route 2010 (Allison Road) is closed due to flooding from the intersection of Shade Valley Road to the intersection of Fultzs Hollow Road in Tell Township.

Route 3027 (Beavertown Road) is closed from the intersection of Route 3025 to the intersection of New Fording Road in Todd Township.

Somerset County

Route 4023 (Black Hills Road/Million Dollar Highway) is closed due to flooding from the intersection with Lincoln Highway to the intersection with Rose Road in Jenner Township.

Route 2020 (Poorbaugh Road/Glencoe Road) is closed due to a downed tree from the intersection of Emerick Road in Northampton Township to the intersection of Glen Savage Road in Fairhope Township.

Route 2010 (Ord Street/ Greenville Road) is closed due to a downed tree at Red Dog Road in Greenfield Township.

Route 2009 (Warrens Mill Road) is closed due to a downed tree from the intersection of Deal Road to the intersection of Cumberland Highway in Larimer Township.

Route 2015 (Glencoe Road) is closed due to a downed tree from the intersection of Philson Road to the intersection of Emerick Road in Northampton Township.

Route 3033 (Barron Church Road) is closed due to flooding from the intersection of Scullton road to the intersection of Copper Kettle Highway in Middlecreek Township.

Route 3043 is closed due to a downed tree from the intersection of the Maryland State Line to the intersection of Route 3002 in Addison Township.
