A MAN WANTED ON ALLEGATIONS HE POINTED A GUN AT A WOMAN IN JOHNSTOWN AND TRIED TO KIDNAP HER … MAY STILL BE IN THE AREA.  POLICE SAY SHANE JOHNSON IS ACCUSED OF KNOCKING ON THE DOOR OF A WOMAN AT JOHNSTOWN’S OAKHURST HOMES … POINTING THE WEAPON AT HER … AND DEMANDING MONEY AND DRUGS.    JOHNSON DROVE HER TO A RELATIVE’S HOME TO GET MORE MONEY AND THAT’S WHEN SHE WAS ABLE TO ESCAPE.   YOU HAVE IDEA WHERE SHANE JOHNSON IS … YOU SHOULD CALL POLICE IMMEDIATELY.

THERE ARE STUDENT ATHLETES AT ST. FRANCIS UNIVERSITY THAT COULD FACE DISCIPLINARY ACTION AFTER A BIG FIGHT THAT BROKE OUT EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.  POLICE INVESTIGATING WHAT HAPPENED SAY THEY BELIEVE TWO SOCCER PLAYERS AND THREE FOOTBALL PLAYERS WERE INVOLVED IN A FIGHT AT AN APARTMENT ALONG ST. JOSEPH STREET.  IT GREW TO INVOLVE ABOUT FIFTY PEOPLE.  TWO WERE HURT SERIOUSLY ENOUGH TO TAKE TO THE HOSPITAL.

A MAN FROM THE COMMUNITY OF BRISBIN IN CLEARFIELD COUNTY IS FACING CHARGES AFTER WHAT POLICE CALL A ROAD RAGE INCIDENT SUNDAY.  50 YEAR OLD RICHARD LITZINGER IS ACCUSED OF RAMMING HIS CAR INTO THE SIDE OF ANOTHER VEHICLE – TRYING TO FORCE IT OFF THE ROAD.  THE COUPLE IN THE OTHER VEHICLE WENT TO THE STATE POLICE TO REPORT WHAT HAPPENED AND LITZINGER WAS ARRESTED A SHORT TIME LATER.

IN BEDFORD COUNTY COURT TODAY, CORY CHILDERS OF BEDFORD IS SCHEDULED TO PLEAD GUILTY TO DRUNK AND DRUGGED DRIVING CHARGES FOR THE APRIL 2012 CRASH THAT KILLED 5-YEAR-OLD JULYEN (JULIAN) WINTERS OF MARYLAND.  THE BOY WAS RIDING IN A MINI-VAN STRUCK BY CHILDERS’ CAR IN BEDFORD TOWNSHIP.   CHILDERS AND THE MINI-VAN DRIVER BOTH HAD MAJOR INJURIES. A 2 YEAR OLD WAS ALSO HURT.

PETER CAIN JUNIOR PLEADED GUILTY AND TOLD A CLEARFIELD COUNTY JUDGE HE WAS SUFFERING FROM DEPRESSION LAST NOVEMBER WHEN HE OPENED FIRE ON STATE POLICE.   YESTERDAY, THE JUDGE SENTENCED HIM TO 2 TO 5 YEARS IN A STATE PRISON.  CAIN ALLEGEDLY THREATENED TO SHOOT ANYONE WHO STEPPED ONTO HIS PROPERTY, THEN HE FIRED 4 SHOTS IN THE DIRECTION OF TROOPERS, HITTING A NEIGHBOR’S HOME.
