A CONEMAUGH TOWNSHIP SCHOOL BUS SLID OF A ROAD IN JEROME THIS MORNING, BUT THERE WERE NO INJURIES.  IT HAPPENED ON KEIM STREET WHEN ONE BUS WAS ATTEMPTING TO PASS ANOTHER.  THE BUS HIT A UTILITY BOX AND ENDED UP IN A YARD. THERE WAS ONE STUDENT ON BOARD AND THAT STUDENT WASN'T HURT.  THE STUDENT WAS TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER BUS AND THE CHILD'S PARENTS WERE NOTIFIED.

HUNDREDS OF SETON HILL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AND MEMBERS OF THE GREENSBURG COMMUNITY GATHERED ON CAMPUS LAST NIGHT TO HONOR THE MEMORY OF WOMEN'S LACROSSE COACH KRISTINA QUIGLEY.  MEMBERS OF THE LACROSSE TEAM WHO WERE ABLE TO RETURN TO THE CAMPUS PARTICIPATED IN THE SERVICE BY CARRYING ROSES IN HONOR OF THE COACH.  IN ADDITION TO QUIGLEY AND HER UNBORN SON, THE BUS DRIVER ALSO DIED IN THE CRASH. HE WAS IDENTIFIED AS 61 YEAR OLD ANTHONY GUAETTA  OF JOHNSTOWN.  POLICE ARE STILL INVESTIGATING THE ACCIDENT, WHICH HAPPENED SATURDAY ON THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE IN MIDDLESEX TOWNSHIP.

DESPITE CONVICTIONS, THE INVESTIGATION INTO THE STEUBENVILLE RAPE CASE IS NOT OVER.  FOLLOWING A JUDGE'S RULING AGAINST TWO HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STARS, OHIO ATTORNEY GENERAL MIKE DEWINE SAID THE GRAND JURY INVESTIGATION INTO THE CASE WOULD CONTINUE.  DEWINE WANTS TO KNOW IF OTHERS SHOULD BE CHARGED IN THE RAPE AND SUBSEQUENT VIDEO POSTINGS.  THE RAPE OF A 16-YEAR-OLD FOLLOWING A NIGHT OF HEAVY DRINKING DREW WORLDWIDE ATTENTION AFTER A VIDEO MOCKING THE INCIDENT WENT VIRAL.

FIREFIGHTERS HAD TO DEAL WITH A CAR FIRE LAST NIGHT IN EBENSBURG.  IT HAPPENED ON THE EAST BOUND LANE OF ROUTE 22 AT THE EBENSBURG EXIT.  THERE IS NO WORD ABOUT ANY INJURIES, OR WHAT CAUSED THE FIRE.

ONE PERSON WAS HOSPITALIZED AFTER A TRUCK ROLLED ONTO IT’S ROOF AND CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE.  IT HAPPENED LATE SATURDAY NIGHT IN LOGAN TOWNSHIP, BLAIR COUNTY.  POLICE SAY THE MAN WAS DRIVING TOO FAST UP  FRANKSTOWN ROAD WHEN THE VEHICLE WENT OUT OF CONTROL AND ROLLED OVER AND HIT A PARKED PICKUP TRUCK.

POLICE IN RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, SUBURBAN JOHNSTOWN, ARE CONCERNED THAT FAKE $100 BILLS ARE CIRCULATING IN THE AREA.  STORES HAVE BEGUN TO CAREFULLY CHECK EACH $100 BILL THEY SEE.  IT IS NOT CLEAR IF SPECIFIC STORES ARE BEING TARGETED.   ONE FAKE $100 BILL WAS USED AT THE GALLERIA.
