Does Windex expire? Do sodas go bad?!? How long should I keep that lotion or lipstick? Since it's spring cleaning season, you might be looking in your cupboards and trying to decide if you should keep that dry pasta from 2009 or pitch it. Ditto with the honey, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco.
According to research from RealSimple, you should toss the pasta. They recommend you keep pasta for 12 months on the shelf.
Believe it or not, they say Worcestershire sauce is stable if unopened for 5 to 10 years. Tabasco is good up to 5 years if kept in a cool, dry place. And honey may crystallize, but it NEVER goes bad!
