Don’t you just love office politics? A survey revealed that many people don’t think twice about sabotaging their coworkers. Almost 40% say that vacation time is a potential source of office drama, and five percent admitted they’ve deliberately scheduled their vacations to mess up a colleague’s plans- often just to spite them! Almost 15% say they keep quiet about their vacation planning for this reason. On another note, an unrelated study pits the old and the young against each other in the workplace. It found that older employees are more reliable and consistent than their younger counterparts. They’re also supposedly more productive (probably because they’ve yet to discover Pinterest).
