Shopping is quickly becoming a high-tech experience. Some stores are coming up with new ways to integrate tablets and smartphones. Karl Lagerfeld’s new store in London features iPads in the dressing rooms so shoppers can take selfies while trying on clothes. They can share their pics with friends via email or social media- a great way to get a virtual second opinion. A Burberry beauty store is outfitted with digital screens that help customers try out different products. And several retailers- including Apple, of course- use smartphones instead of traditional registers, making it even easier to pay.
