Trying to get kids to think of Thanksgiving as something other than “Turkey Day,” PETA put up billboards in Nevada and California comparing turkeys to the family dog and asking: "KIDS: If you wouldn't eat your dog, why eat a turkey? Go vegan" with a picture of a dog head on a turkey body,
This has angered a lot of people, especially since PETA is also offering tombstones kids can stick in the turkey that say, “Here lies the corpse of a tortured bird.”
We’re just waiting to see if PETA does the same thing for the Christmas goose …
