New Zealand is looking out for a child’s well-being - namely when it comes to names. Over the past 12 years, the country’s Department of Internal Affairs has banned nearly 80 names deemed unacceptable to the government. Parents have been prohibited from naming their newborn babies things like "Justice," "Lucifer," "Mafia No Fear," "Anal," and "A.J.” Basically anything that might “cause offense to a reasonable person,” is “unreasonably long” or “resembles an official title and rank.” That means names like “Princess,” “Prince,” “King,” and “Christ” are also out. They also apparently don’t like names that appear to be initials, or names that include numbers and symbols. So please folks, don’t give your child a bad name!
