Lindsay Lohan will soon join Barbara Walters for an exclusive, revealing interview, Access Hollywood has learned.
In the next few weeks, Barbara will sit down with the actress for an extensive, "no holds barred, no questions off-limits" interview, a source close to Lindsay told Access on Sunday.
The 26-year-old actress has chosen to speak with the iconic journalist because she "trusts Barbara."
"[Lindsay] has a lot of respect and admiration for her, and knows the interview will be done accurately and fairly," the source said.
Additionally, Barbara spent half a day with Lindsay on the set of her Lifetime TV movie, "Liz & Dick" this summer, where the actress gave Barbara a tour of the set, while ABC filmed behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Grant Bowler (playing Richard Burton), producer Larry Thompson and the movie's director.
Footage from Barbara's "Liz & Dick" set visit - along with Lindsay's new interview - will air as a one-hour primetime special.
Lindsay will be the only member of the Lohan family interviewed for the special.
