LINDSAY ACCEPTS PLEA DEAL
After months of refusing to accept a plea deal, Lindsay Lohan finally gave in yesterday. Lindsay arrived over 40 minutes late to her lying-to-the-cops trial, and was greeted with a glitter bomb as she walked into the California courthouse. When the case finally got underway, Lindsay agreed to plead no contest to reckless driving and lying to the cops, and will spend 90 days in a locked down rehab facility. In addition, she’ll perform 30 days of community labor and undergo psychotherapy for 18 months. During that time, she must stay clear of drugs and drug users, and she’ll be forced to submit to drug testing. She was also given a 5-day jail sentence on the reckless driving charge, but the residential rehab sentence will cancel it out and she won’t have to go to prison. Lindsay also admitted to violating her probation in the jewelry heist case, which earned her a sentence of 180 days in jail, but that was stayed, which means she’ll be out of prison as long as she continues to obey all laws. The judge warned her that any slip up during this time period could be devastating and advised her “don’t drive.”
LINDSAY’S LAWYER TO BE INVESTIGATED FOR WITNESS TAMPERING
TMZ reports that Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer Mark Heller is being investigated for possible witness tampering. According to sources, the Santa Monica City Attorney is launching an investigation into allegations Heller tried to manipulate Lindsay’s former assistant Gavin into lying on the stand. Prosecutors believe Heller tried to talk Gavin into saying he was the one driving Lindsay’s Porsche when it crashed on the Pacific Coast Highway last summer. Heller insists any accusation of witness tampering is “crazy.”
HISTORY CHANNEL DENIES SATAN RESEMBLES OBAMA
History Channel’s 10-part miniseries The Bible is a bona fide hit, and now it’s stirring up some controversy. Twitter was abuzz after Sunday night’s episode with comments that Mohamen Mehdi Ouazzanni, the actor playing Satan, had been made to look like President Barack Obama. Christian conservative Glenn Beck noted the similarity on Twitter, posting a screenshot of Mohamen, with the tweet, “Anyone else think the Devil in #TheBible Sunday on HIstory Channel looks exactly like That Guy?” [Beck doesn’t refer to the president by name.] History and The Bible executive producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey released a statement denying the similarities were intentional. “History channel has the highest respect for President Obama,” the network said in a statement. “The series was produced with an international and diverse cast of respected actors. It’s unfortunate that anyone made this false connection. History’s The Bible is meant to enlighten people on its rich stories and deep history.” Added Downey, “Both Mark and I have nothing but respect and love our President, who is a fellow Christian. False statements such as these are just designed as a foolish distraction to try and discredit the beauty of the story of The Bible.”
TIGER & LINDSEY DATING
Tiger Woods and skier Lindsey Vonn have confirmed the rumors they are dating. The pair posted professionally shot photos of themselves on Facebook and Twitter, along with the news. “Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn,” Tiger wrote on Facebook. “Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating." And Lindsey similarly wrote, “Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months and it has made me very happy."
MILEY & LIAM NOT GIVING UP ON LOVE
Despite the constant rumors that they are through, sources insist Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are “not giving up” on their relationship. Insiders tell E! the pair has hit a “rocky” patch, but there’s still hope for a reconciliation. And we know they’ll have to see each other at least one more time because E! reports that Liam’s teal-green and black Ford Mustang has been parked in Miley’s driveway ever since he left for Australia. So far there’s no word on when Liam is expected to return to LA.
HASSELBECK LEAVING THE VIEW
Despite what Barbara Walters said earlier this month, sources say Elisabeth Hasselbeck is indeed on her way out at The View and Barbara is furious that the decision to fire Elisabeth was leaked in the press. Plans to replace Elisabeth hit the internet March 8th, forcing Barbara to deny it on the ABC talker. But insiders say ABC is “desperate to freshen up the show,” and that means Elisabeth will be gone. They say that because of the leak, Elisabeth has been given a brief reprieve, but producers are “just leaving the door open for Elisabeth to announce she is leaving on her own when she is ready . . .They don't want to make her look bad and don't want to make the show look bad for canning her...They just want to make it seem like Elisabeth decided to leave on her own when the announcement comes.”
TWILIGHT AUTHOR CALLS STEWART & PATTINSON FAME TRAGIC
Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight series, admits the films’ popularity didn’t turn out to be a good thing for its stars, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. “Here’s the thing: there are some actors who are looking to be world famous, to be that household name, and although they might discover that there are a lot of negative things involved in that, it’s what they want,” Meyer told London’s Sunday Times., “But that doesn’t apply to Kristen and Rob. That’s what makes it kind of ironic and tragic.” She adds, “I just don’t think they enjoy the parts [of fame] that other people would. And I totally get that, because it would not be my thing either.”
SIZEMORE DISHES ON AFFAIRS
Actor Tom Sizemore has a new memoir coming out and in it the 51-year-old actor dishes the dirt on the affair he had with Elizabeth Hurley in the 90s. Tom writes in By Some Miracle I Made It Out of There that he and Liz became lovers during the filming of the 1992 flick Passenger 57, when she was still dating Hugh Grant. Tom says she used to flip out whenever she thought Grant may be coming to see her. He also said that since he was intimidated by her beauty, Liz was the one to make the first move, coming out in skimpy lingerie and then doing a striptease for him. Wrote Tom, “It was a goddamn good routine too.” The Black Hawk Down star says he fell hard for Liz and actually cried when their affair ended. He also discusses the affair he had with Juliette Lewis, when she was 19 and he was 32. He writes that before he made his move he first got permission from her ex-boyfriend Brad Pitt. (He says that Lewis dumped Pitt after he made her late for the Oscars because he couldn’t decide what shoes to wear.) In fact, Tom claims Pitt told him, “I’ll drive you there! I want to be your agent on this one.” Tom said that during their fling, Juliette never wanted to leave her home, and the TV always had pornography on. When he’d try to change the channel she would protest saying, “But I like the music.” Tom added, “Essentially, we were really high and really rich.”
MALOOF & STEWART PACK ON THE PDA
Over the weekend, Adrienne Maloof, 51, put to rest rumors she split from boy toy Sean Stewart, tweeting a picture of herself with her 32-year-old beau at a boxing match in California. Although reports claimed the pair called it quits earlier this month, sources say they were looking very much like a couple at the Saturday event. “They were sitting together ringside and totally making out with not a care that they were surrounded by people,” a source told Radaronline. “They were just going at it.”
BREAKING BAD CAR FOR SALE
Breaking Bad fans will soon have a chance to get their hands on a unique prop from the hit AMC show. An auto wholesaler named Mike Faris is getting ready to sell the beat up 1984 Toyota Tercel driven by Aaron Paul’s character Jesse Pinkman in the series. The car was recently returned to Faris’ custody now that filming is over, although he’s been told he can’t actually sell it until the final episode of Breaking Bad airs this summer. Faris posted pics of the car on his Facebook page over the weekend, offering it for sale, although he did admit that it may not be the actual one Pinkman drives on camera, since the production team leased several cars for shooting.

Spring Breakers star Ashley Benson has split from her boyfriend of more than a year, Ryan Good. Benson, who has recently been linked to James Franco, told Seventeen they called it quits in late 2012. "I've always been in relationships," explained Benson. "And I knew I needed to learn to be comfortable alone."
WATSON DENIES 50 SHADES OF GRAY RUMORS
Emma Watson is denying rumors she’ll play Anastasia Steele in the big screen adaptation of 50 Shades of Gray. "Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life," the 22-year-old posted on Twitter Sunday. She concluded with the tweet, “Good. Well then that’s sorted out then.”
