After two years of dating, American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and Safe Haven star Julianne Hough have reportedly called it quits. According to sources, the couple’s busy work schedules became too much to handle, and they decided to take a break. Hough doesn’t seem to be wallowing over her failed relationship. Over the weekend, she posted an Instagram picture of herself with actress Nina Dobrev and stylist Riawna Capri, along with the captions, “Beachin’ with my bitches” and “#friendsarethebesttherapy.”
CELEB HACKERS SAY THEY’RE DONE
The hackers responsible for posting the financial information of celebrities like Beyonce, First Lady Michelle Obama and Kim Kardashian announced over the weekend that they were done with their cyber attack. In a message to TMZ, the group, which posted sensitive data like credit card information and banking info, explained, “We have enjoyed every minute of the past 12 days of providing entertainment and laughs to all of you, sadly it’s time to say bon voyage — we hope.” They ended their message with, “If you believe that God makes miracles, you have to wonder if Satan has a few up his sleeve.”
PALTROW REVEALS SHE ‘NEARLY DIED’ FROM MISCARRIAGE
Gwyneth Paltrow revealed to The Mail’s You magazine that she suffered a miscarriage that almost killed her. “My children ask me to have a baby all the time,” she said. “And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third. I’m thinking about it.” Although she didn’t discuss when exactly the miscarriage occurred, the 40-year-old Paltrow, wife of Coldplay’s Chris Martin and mother to 8-year-old Apple and 6-year-old Moses, explained, “I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn’t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, ‘Are we good here or should we go back and try again?’”
KIM’S TOUGH PREGNANCY
It doesn’t sound like Kim Kardashian is enjoying her pregnancy all that much. “Being pregnant is not as easy as my sister [Kourtney] made it look or as my mom [Kris Jenner] has made it look,” the 32-year-old told E! on the red carpet for her new movie Temptation. “It’s a little painful. I’ve gotten sick a couple times, and that puts you out.” The busy reality show star realizes that she may need to take a little more time for herself. Said Kim, “I like to be active … but I’ve been chilling out. I took a week off just to rest. It was amazing.”
PRINCE WILLIAM & KATE DIFFER ON BABY
Although rumors claimed Kate Middleton is having a baby girl, the Duchess of Cambridge is still tight-lipped about the sex of her unborn royal. During a St. Patrick’s Day ceremony over the weekend, she was asked if she was having a boy or girl and she said she didn’t know. Kate then added, “I’d like to have a boy and William would like a girl.” When asked if they had picked out any names yet, Kate said “no.”
MILLIONAIRE MATCHMAKER ENGAGED
Looks like Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger has finally found love for herself. Radaronline reports that the Bravo reality show star has gotten engaged to real estate broker/former baseball player David Krause, who she’s been dating since March. The couple reportedly met online. Patti was previously engaged to real estate executive Andy Friedman, but they called it quits in 2010 after seven years together.
PROSECUTORS TO PROVE LINDSAY LIKES TO LIE
Lindsay Lohan’s trial for lying to the cops in connection with her June car accident begins today, and TMZ reports that California prosecutors are ready show she makes a habit of lying to the police when she gets in trouble on the road. Prosecutors want to introduce evidence of two other cases where Linds told cops she was only a passenger in a vehicle at the time of an accident. The first incident took place in May, 2007, when she was busted for DUI on Sunset Boulevard. She had claimed she wasn’t driving, but that turned out to be a lie. The second happened in March, 2012, when she was leaving a club and struck a bystander. She again told cops she was only a passenger, but that was a lie as well.
CLOONEY & KEIBLER NOT OVER?
Looks like rumors that George Clooney and Stacy Keibler were over may not be true. On Friday, The Sun claimed the pair’s year and a half romance had come to an end. A source told the tab, “They knew it was never going to end in marriage or babies and Stacy does want kids and a husband in the next few years.” The insider also added that George had bought the 33-year-old former wrestler an apartment and jewelry as a parting gift. But The Mail reports the couple is still very much together, and that on Friday, Keibler flew to Berlin to be with her man while he was filming his latest project, The Monument’s Men.
LIAM HEADS TO THE PHILIPPINES
Liam Hemsworth was in the Philippines Friday, making his first public appearance since news of his split from Miley Cyrus hit the press. The 23-year-old was in Manila to serve as brand ambassador for a local clothing line that he signed on to endorse last summer. Liam gladly sat down for interviews, but all questions about Miley were off limits. Meanwhile, Liam has reportedly cancelled an upcoming appearance at the World Premiere of his new movie Empire State. Liam was expected to attend the Gasparilla International Film Festival in Tampa tomorrow, but pulled out of the event in favor of staying in Australia with family.
MILEY SAYS RING IS BEING FIXED
Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus has implied on Twitter that her engagement ring is being fixed, which is why she hasn’t been seen wearing it lately. Late Thursday, Cyrus’ back-up singer Lindsey Lee tweeted, “had to send off my engagement ring today to get fixed… one of the little diamonds fell out… I feel naked without it :( so sad!” The tweet prompted a reply by Miley, in which she wrote, “ugh that’s the worst! I just had a similar situation except when it happens to me then everyone says my wedding is off.” Lee then showed her support for Miley, writing, “OMG that sucks! people just need to mind their own business. I saw first-hand how happy u & Liam are don’t let them get to u!”
LAUER PROMISES BETTER TODAY
Rumors are running rampant that NBC is getting ready to axe Matt Lauer in an attempt to save the struggling Today show. According to reports, ever since the Ann Curry debacle, Matt has been so unpopular that his Q rating (which measures popularity) has been at an all-time low. But despite the stories, Matt assured advertisers last week the Today team is working hard to bring the show back to what it once was. “I would like to tackle a teeny white elephant in the room — we hate being the news,” joked Lauer. “From the bottom of my heart, I promise to spend all of my time and energy over the next several months trying to keep [co-anchor] Savannah [Guthrie] out of the headlines.” Guthrie then joked with Lauer, telling him, “But you said all press is good press,” to which Lauer replied, “Yeah, that didn’t work out.” Matt then added, “we want to go back to being the most watched morning program – and the least talked about – morning program.”
LAUER IN LINE FOR TREBEK’S JOB?
Meanwhile, The New York Post reports that Matt Lauer is being considered to replace Alex Trebek on Jeopardy! when he finally retires. Trebek’s contract is up in 2016 and sources say Matt, whose Today contract ends in 2015, is the frontrunner for the job. Anderson Cooper’s name has also been mentioned as a possible Trebek replacement.
CRAIG FLIPS OUT ON PHOTO TAKING FAN
James Bond star Daniel Craig reportedly flipped out on a fan who tried to take a picture of him and wife Rachel Weisz at a grocery store in New York last week. “Is watching me food shopping with my wife all that interesting to you,” he reportedly shouted, as he grabbed for the man’s phone. Rachel was quick to step in and calm her hubby down but did give the fan “a stern but polite lecture on privacy.” Rachel then had Daniel give back the phone, but not before he had the man delete the pictures. The fan apologized for causing them any stress.
OPRAH NOT OFFENDED BY HOWARD
Oprah Winfrey is not upset that Terrence Howard expressed his love for her “tig ole bitties,” when discussing their sex scene in the upcoming movie The Butler. In an interview with Steve Harvey (to air next month), Oprah said she wasn’t offended by the comment because, “I do have big breasteses.” As for their love scene, Oprah explained, “it was supposed to be like a little scene, and because Terrence Howard misbehaved it turned into a bigger scene, and then a bigger scene.”
PADMA SHOOTS DOWN DATING RUMORS
Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi is denying reports she’s dating wealthy hotelier Vikram Chatwal, who owns the Dream Hotel chain. The pair was first linked in December when they were seen together at a New York Knicks game. But Padma took to Twitter last week to dispel the rumors. “Please stop writing lies,” she tweeted. “I’m not dating anyone or vacationing with or (getting) ‘cozy’ with anyone.” She added that she is “single and free.”
DEVITO & PERLMAN BACK TOGETHER
Looks like Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman may have worked out their problems. The couple, who’ve been married for 30 years, announced they were splitting in October, but Radaronline reports they’ve been working on their marriage ever since and are now likely to call off their divorce. “Danny has been moving heaven and earth to win Rhea back – and it has worked,” a source close to the couple tells the site. “He pampered her with spa treatments, took her out for expensive dinners and made sure she felt special again. It was a necessity, Danny kind of took Rhea for granted for a few years and their marriage went stale because of that.” But with all the renewed attention Danny’s been giving Rhea, they seem to be on the mend. “Danny hasn’t got a better friend on this planet than Rhea,” said the insider. “They are the perfect couple, share the same playful sense of humor and were made for each other.”

Former Bachelor Jason Mesnick and wife Molly welcomed a baby girl on Thursday, Riley Anne Mesnick. “What’s amazing to me is when Molly is holding Riley, her eyes do not come off her,” Jason told the mag. “I’m already seeing how much Molly loves the baby.” Jason and Molly met on his season of The Bachelor. He actually proposed to Melissa Rycroft, but then dumped Melissa on the reunion show in favor of Molly.
