ELISABETH HASSELBECK OUT AT THE VIEW
Joy Behar announced she was leaving The View last week, and now it sounds like another woman on the panel is on her way out. According to reports, ABC will not renew Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s contract when it is up later this year. Hasselbeck, who has been with the show for nine years, was reportedly informed of the decision on Friday. Apparently viewers didn’t really like her all that much. “The viewers they polled all said she was too extreme and right wing," said a source. A rep for the show denied the rumor, saying, "Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a valued member of The View and has a long term contract.” Word is Brooke Shields is in the running to take Hasselbeck’s place.

Well, Parade magazine has answered that question. 19-year-old Justin Bieber made $55 million in 2012, but he was still trumped by Taylor Swift, who earned $57 mil, making her the third highest-paid woman behind Oprah Winfrey and Britney Spears. Brad Pitt took in $35 mil, with Channing Tatum earning $15 mil, and Oscar-winner Anne Hathaway taking home $10 mil. Interestingly, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson earned $50,000-per-episode of her TLC show, which is not bad for a seven year old.

Sarah Jessica Parker is apparently not a fan of the CW’s Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries. When asked what she thought of AnnaSophia Robb’s teenage take on Carrie Bradshaw, she replied, "I'm not sure... You know, I think it's one of those tests of your generosity. She is a lovely girl and I want her to feel good about it, but it's... odd."
HOLLY MADISON DEFENDS DAUGHTER’S NAME
Girls Next Door’s Holly Madison announced Friday that she named her newborn daughter Rainbow Aurora, and the internet was quick to criticize her for giving the child a ridiculous name. Well, Holly doesn’t really care. “There are a lot of smug haters out there who bag on my choice of a name, but I don't care about what they think," she wrote. "I want my daughter to be proud of who she is and learn to speak up and stand up for herself at a young age." She added, “I spent most of my life being a people-pleaser who worried about what other people thought or thought was cool and I don't want that for her.”
LISA LING WELCOMES BABY GIRL
Former The View host Lisa Ling gave birth to a baby girl on Friday. The journalist and her husband Paul Song welcomed daughter Jett Ling Song in Santa Monica, CA. "We feel so blessed that this day has arrived," said Ling in a statement. “We're nervously excited to begin this next chapter in our lives with our little Jett."
SOFIA BABY RUMORS
The New York Post claims the Modern Family star Sofia Vergara and fiance Nick Loeb are planning to have a baby via surrogate. 40-year-old Sofia, whose son Manolo is 21, reportedly asked a close friend to carry the child for them and they’ve already begun the process. “The child will be biologically Sofia and Nick’s baby, and she has selected a surrogate — who is a very close girlfriend — to carry the baby,” said a source. “A procedure has taken place, and Sofia and Nick will find out in a few weeks if it was successful, if the surrogate is pregnant, and if they will become parents.” According to insiders, the couple always wanted a child, but Sofia’s career is too busy right now for her to even consider becoming pregnant.
TROUBLE IN PARADISE FOR MILEY & LIAM
Miley Cyrus took to Twitter last week to deny her fiancé Liam Hemsworth cheated on her, but that doesn’t mean things are okay between them. Sources tell People they are having issues, although they have not broken up. “Miley still wants to get married,” said an insider. “(But) Miley and Liam have had some problems that they’re working through.” The source adds, “They have always had a passionate relationship. They have a very strong physical attraction, but have very different personalities and backgrounds. This makes their relationship very complicated.” So complicated, in fact , that on Thursday, Miley was out partying in North Hollywood with a mystery man. She was also not wearing her engagement ring; the second day in a row she was spotted without it.
ARIEL WINTER HAPPY WITH NORMAL LIFE
Modern Family star Ariel Winter is opening up about her family troubles in a new interview with Teen Vogue. The 15-year-old says her life is much more “normal” now that she’s living with her older sister Shanelle Workman, who was granted temporary guardianship of Ariel amid allegations that Ariel’s mother Chrisoula Workman abused her. "I've never had a curfew before," she says. "My life is definitely more normal [living with my sister]—and that'll help me grow up like I'm supposed to. … I'm really happy." She is also in a better place mentally thanks to her sis. "I had body insecurities when I was younger. I still do. Every girl has insecurities—mine were heightened at the time because my mother wasn't supportive," she says. "Now, my sister is always making sure to tell me that I look beautiful."
KRISTEN SEEN FLIRTING WITH SCHWARZENEGGER’S SON
Robert Pattinson has reportedly been giving girlfriend Kristen Stewart the cold shoulder, so apparently she’s started looking elsewhere for affection. According to Star magazine, the 22-year-old Twilight star was spotted getting close to 18-year-old Patrick Schwarzenegger last week in LA. Witnesses say she was flirting with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son at Taylor Lautner’s birthday party in Los Angeles. “She was creeping on Patrick big time,” claims a source. “People were saying they should get a room because the energy between them was so hot.”
RAMSAY ON FEUD WITH FATHER-IN-LAW
Gordon Ramsay is opening up about his ongoing feud with father-in-law Chris Hutcheson in this month’s Men’s Journal. The Kitchen Nightmares host was business partners with his wife Tana’s dad, and at one point they were so close Ramsay described them as “two wings of the same plane.” But then the chef discovered Hutcheson had taken out secret loans from their company and even worse, he was living a double life with a mistress and two children. "I mean, what would it take for me to do that to my daughter?,” said Ramsay. “What kind of man would I be? What kind of evil f--k would you be, to s--t on your family to that extent and bring in this new family that had been hidden for 20 years? What kind of man would I be?" Ramsay had a similarly bad relationship with his own dad, who abandoned the family in 1991 and died seven years later from alcoholism at 53. He said the last time he saw his dad was when he invited him to dinner at his restaurant. "He didn't really understand the menu, and he asked for a glass of red wine, which he topped off with 7-Up or Sprite. He said it made it taste better. I didn't know what to say," said Ramsay. "But I could see my French sommelier's toes curling. And I was so embarrassed that I made up an excuse that I had to go to a meeting."
BRANGELINA SELLS OUT
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s first batch of wine is a hit. The couple’s Miraval Rosé 2012 sold out of all 6,000 bottles on Thursday, only five hours after it went on sale online. Miraval Rosé 2012 was available as a six-bottle case for $139. More bottles will go on sale later this month, but for wholesalers and restaurants.
ROD’S WIFE TURNS DOWN HOUSEWIVES
Penny Lancaster was reportedly in the running to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills but her husband Rod Stewart tells TMZ she turned them down. A cameraman asked Rod if his wife was going to be on the Bravo show and he replied, “She doesn’t want to do that sort of thing. She’s just happy being a mom.”
