HUNNAM DROPS OUT OF FIFTY SHADES OF GREY The producers of Fifty Shades of Grey are going back to the drawing board. On Saturday it was announced that Sons of Anarchy’s Charlie Hunnam dropped out of the much-anticipated film. The actor was expected to play the lead role of Christian Grey opposite Dakota Johnson, as Anastasia Steele. Producers claimed he bailed on the project due to his “immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role.” But some insiders doubt that excuse is true, since many believe his TV schedule would have been worked out way before he signed on for the project. DOUGLAS LIED ABOUT CANCER Michael Douglas has admitted he lied when he told the public he had battled throat cancer. In reality he had tongue cancer, and fibbed at the recommendation of his doctor. “The surgeon said, ‘Let’s just say it’s throat cancer.’ I said ‘OK, you don’t want to say it’s tongue cancer?… Why’s that?’ and he said, ‘Well, if you really want to know why, if we do have to have surgery it’s not going to be pretty. You’ll lose part of you jaw and your tongue and all of that stuff,’” Douglas told Samuel L. Jackson during a UK TV show interview. So the actor decided to stick with the lie to avoid having to talk to reporters about the possibility of losing part of his face. When they objected to his filming, and he refused to stop, a passerby came to their defense and punched Shia and kicked him in the groin. She also insists she’s okay being on her own. “I really am genuinely happy … finally with myself, which I think sometimes it takes separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are," she says, adding, "I've never been able to be alone, and I'm obsessed with being alone and hearing my thoughts." Finally, sources say Kris may be ready to drop the Jenner name. “Kris has seriously been thinking about changing her last name back to Kardashian,” said a source. “Their family empire is built on the Kardashian name. She competed for ten seasons, while Mazo only competed for four, although he won the first season with partner Kelly Monaco. HOUGH INSISTS SHE DIDN’T INSULT BALLAS Julianne Hough insist she wasn’t intentionally dissing her friend Mark Ballas on Dancing with the Stars last week. Julianne was a guest judge on the ABC program and in her critique of his performance with Christina Milian said, “I’ve danced with Mark, you have to stand in front to make sure you’re seen.” Many thought Julianne was insulting Mark, and even he thought she was being a “hypocrite,” but she insists she didn’t mean to offend. “I judge the same way I teach so it all comes from love,” Julianne told Us Weekly. “It's not to diss anybody. It's not to hurt anybody's feelings. It's about constructive criticism so that they can get better for next week and that was not a direct attack to anybody." LEANN’S EX TALKS ABOUT HER INFIDELITY LeAnn Rimes’ ex-husband Dean Sheremet tells Access Hollywood he clearly remembers how he found out his wife was having an affair with Eddie Cibrian. “I had a call...from LeAnn," Dean said. "She said, 'Well, Us Weekly may or may not have a picture of me and Eddie kissing.' I'm like, 'Whoa! What do you mean may or may not have a picture? What does that mean?' So then...it unfolded from there." Dean says he never thought LeAnn would cheat on him. "I guess you have that assumption that the person that you're with would never do something like that,” he said. “How close we were, I just never saw it coming." Sheremet has since gotten remarried, tying the knot with photographer Sarah Silver in 2011. "I don't know [if I] dodged a bullet...every relationship you learn from," he said. "I think that was my learning experience of what I needed to do to pick myself up and kind of do what I needed to do."
