MILEY & LIAM ENGAGEMENT OFF
Who didn’t see this one coming. Reps for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth confirmed to People yesterday that the couple has called off their engagement. The news comes just days after Miley, 20, stopped following Liam, 23, on Twitter, and rumors surfaced that Liam was caught kissing another woman at the Toronto Film Festival. The couple, who met on the set of 2010’s The Last Song, got engaged in May 2012. In a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar, obviously conducted before the split, Miley said a wedding was the furthest thing from her mind at the moment. “I definitely don’t have time to deal with a wedding right now,” she said. “But I will at some point.” As for her recent raunchy behavior, Miley doesn’t understand what the big deal is. “I was an adult when I was supposed to be a kid,” said the former Hannah Montana star. “So now I’m an adult and I’m acting like a kid.”
BEYONCE PULLED INTO AUDIENCE BY FAN
Nothing can stop Beyonce. During her performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil Sunday, an over-excited fan yanked her off stage, and while the incident certainly looked scary, Bey didn’t stop singing for any of it. Beyonce was putting her mic out in the crowd for fans to sing along to “Irreplaceable” when a shirtless dude pulled her from the stage and into the pit. Security immediately ran up and released Bey from the fan’s grasp, but she seemed to be a good sport about it. She was heard shouting at security, “Hey, hey, hey! It’s alright…He just got excited,” and then shook the guy’s hand.
THE LATEST LAMAR/KHLOE NEWS
Khloe Kardashian may have kicked husband Lamar Odom out of the house because of his drug problems, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t still worried about him. In fact, sources say Khloe “panicked” last week when she heard reports that Lamar had suffered a drug overdose. Khloe immediately tried to contact her husband, but kept getting his friends. She eventually spoke to him and was assured the reports were false and he was fine. Meanwhile sources say the couple’s marriage is likely headed towards divorce, but it’s Lamar who wants to end things. “The whole situation is so sad,” a source tells People. “She wants to save her marriage, but Lamar doesn’t and he’s not in his right mind to do so.”

But Nina brushed off the comments, telling reporters, “I have to rise above that. JADEN’S ANTI-SCHOOL RANT

Earlier this month, the 15-year-old went on an anti-education Twitter rant. “School Is The Tool To Brainwash Youth,” he wrote, adding, “If Everybody In The World Dropped Out of School We Would Have A Much More Intelligent Society.” Finally he wrote, “If Newborn Babies Could Speak They Would Be The Most Intelligent Beings on the Planet Earth.” Jaden, son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, used to go to the Scientology-based New Village Leadership Academy in Los Angeles, which was closed earlier this year. Just a few weeks after he was spotted dining in London with millionairess Jemima Kahn, the pair was photographed together on a stroll through New York City over the weekend. Just last week, Brand admitted to The Guardian he was dating someone, but refused to reveal the woman’s identity. “I'm not typically immune to the allure of objectified women, but I am presently beleaguered by a nerdish, whirling dervish, and am eschewing all others,” he told the paper. WILLIAMS’ MONEY PROBLEMS
Robin Williams is starring in the new CBS comedy The Crazy Ones (premiering September 26th), and while some may have been surprised by his decision to return to TV, Williams had a very good reason to do so – money. The 62-year-old, whose last TV gig was the late 70s/early 80s series Mork & Mindy, says his two divorces left him short on cash, so he needed a “steady job.” “Divorce is expensive,” he said. “I used to joke they were going to call it ‘all the money,’ but they changed it to alimony. It’s ripping your heart out through your wallet.” Robin’s first marriage ended in 1998 after ten years, and his second ended in 2008 after 19 years. He is currently married to graphic designer Susan Schneider.
