DOCTORS WARN KIM TO SLOW DOWN
Kim Kardashian was rushed to the doctor earlier this week after experiencing stomach pains while flying home from Paris. According to the New York Post, the four-months pregnant star was worried she was suffering a miscarriage, but the baby was fine. Doctors gave Kim the all-clear but warned her she was working and exercising too hard. “Kim’s not respecting her pregnancy,” said a source. “She’s running around, working out seven days a week.” Apparently Kim is desperate to try and keep her weight in check. “She’s scared that her ass is as big as a couch and is going south,” said the insider. “But she is having a very rough pregnancy, and doctors have ordered her to slow down.”
KELLY OSBOURNE RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AFTER SEIZURE
Kelly Osbourne was rushed to a California hospital yesterday after suffering a seizure on the set of E!’s Fashion Police. According to TMZ, she was filming an episode in front of a studio audience, when she turned to Melissa Rivers and said “I don’t feel good” and fell out of her chair and began shaking. Rivers turned her head and someone in the audience with medical training ran down to help. Osbourne did eventually come to, but her people had her taken to the hospital to be checked out. A rep for Osbourne later said she did not suffer a seizure and only fainted.
JOY BEHAR LEAVING THE VIEW
Joy Behar is getting ready to say goodbye to The View. Deadline.com reports that the comedienne’s contract is up in August and she’s decided not to renew. “It seemed like the right time,” she said. “You reach a point when you say to yourself, ‘Do I want to keep doing this?’ There are other things on my plate I want to do — I’ve been writing a play, I’ve been neglecting my standup.” She also said she’d be interested in possibly hosting another talk show, since her Current TV show will end when the network is taken over by Al Jazerra. Behar, who is expected to remain on the ABC talker for a few more months, is the last original cast member of The View, besides Barbara Walters.
JESS CONFIRMS SHE’S HAVING A BOY
On Wednesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jessica Simpson finally confirmed, albeit inadvertently, that she is expecting a baby boy. When asked how she was feeling during her second pregnancy Jess said she was getting sick a lot, joking, “The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous.” Jess suddenly realized what she had done, laughed it off, and announced, “Well, I guess I just told the world that I’m having a boy.”
ALEC & HILARIA BALDWIN EXPECTING BABY GIRL
Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria announced yesterday that their baby-to-be is going to be a girl. “Alec and I are overjoyed that we are going to be welcoming a little girl into our lives,” Hilaria told Extra. This will be Alec’s second daughter. His daughter Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger, is 17.
BROWN FUMES OVER $10 VALET BILL
Chris Brown still can’t control his anger. His latest dustup occurred in LA Wednesday night when he got into a fight at the bowling alley PINZ over the $10 service charge to valet his car. TMZ cameras caught the argument on tape (Note Content: Explicit Language). Apparently Chris had only been at the bowling alley for 30 minutes attending a charity event. When the valet said he couldn’t release the car until he paid the $10, Chris is heard saying, “F**k ten dollars.” Someone in Chris’s entourage tried to tell him they had the money and not to worry about it, but he wouldn’t calm down and then told the valet, “We gonna turn this whole thing out.” Brown told TMZ he flipped out because he felt the valet was ripping him off. He said everyone else was charged $5 for the valet, but because he was famous they made him pay $10.
DEMI FILES FOR DIVORCE
Demi Moore officially filed divorce papers from Ashton Kutcher on Thursday. In the documents submitted to Los Angeles Superior Court, Demi cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, and is requesting spousal support. She is also asking that Kutcher pay her attorney fees. Kutcher filed his papers back in December and did not ask for any spousal support.
FISHER JOKING ABOUT STAR WARS RETURN, ALTHOUGH LUCAS TELLS ANOTHER STORY
Earlier this week, Carrie Fisher claimed she’d be returning to the role of Princess Leia in the new Star Wars films, but now she’s backtracking. When asked by CNN if she’d be back, she replied, “yes,” adding that her character would likely be, “elderly. She's in an intergalactic old folks' home. I just think she would be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle." But on Wednesday, Fisher’s rep denied anything’s definite, saying, “She was joking.” But that’s news to Star Wars creator George Lucas. He recently told Bloomberg Business Week that Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill will indeed be in the new films. “We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison—or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation,” he said about the new films. “Maybe I’m not supposed to say that. I think they want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do, but we were negotiating with them.”
STERN BEING GROOMED TO REPLACE FALLON?
With reports that NBC is looking to move Jimmy Fallon to the Tonight Show, speculation has begun regarding who’ll take Fallon’s late night spot. According to the New York Post, the network is said to be “grooming” none other than America’s Got Talent judge Howard Stern for the gig. This wouldn’t be Stern’s first attempt at late night TV. He had a show on E! that ran for 11 years.
TURTLE CREATOR NOT A MEGAN FOX FAN
Michael Bay may be happy to have Megan Fox play April O’Neil in his new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, but not everyone shares his opinion. Peter Laird, who created TMNT with Kevin Eastman, took to his blog to voice his displeasure with the casting. "My only exposure to Megan Fox as an actress is through her role in two Transformers movies and the wretched (but happily forgettable) Jennifer's Body," he wrote. "It may not be fair to judge her range of acting skills just from those three movies, but I think it is safe to say that there are probably hundreds of better choices for the role of April O'Neil." He added, “Of course, her name has promotional value, and maybe that's what they want. Who knows? I can't get myself too worked up about it."
HANDLER TALKS TAYLOR & ANGELINA
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live earlier this week, the always irreverent Chelsea Handler went off on both Taylor Swift and Angelina Jolie. As for why Swift goes through so many men, Chelsea explained, “My theory about Taylor Swift is that she’s a virgin, that everyone breaks up with her because they date her for two weeks and she’s like, ‘I’m not gonna do it.’ and they’re like, ‘oh well, forget it. Then I don’t want to date you.’” She added, “Every guy thinks they’re gonna de-virginize her, and they’re not. She’s never going to get de-virginized, ever, ever, ever, ever.” Handler, a good friend of Jennifer Aniston, also had a few choice words to say about Angelina Jolie, who she’s been critical of in the past. "She seems like a demon,” said Chelsea. “It has nothing to do with Jennifer. As a woman, I know when you see somebody walking across the room that's a bad girl. I just don't like Angelina Jolie. PATTINSON BANS STEWART FROM MOVIE SET
According to In Touch, Robert Pattinson has banned Kristen Stewart from the set of the movie he’s currently filming in Australia. “Rob doesn’t want her to visit,” said an insider. “He felt like they needed space. He wants a break.” The ban means Kristen probably won’t see Robert for seven weeks, and she’s not happy about it. A source told HollywoodLife.com, “Kristen is desperate to get out to Australia because she misses Rob. But he’s being ambivalent about the whole thing.”
THRONES STAR SPARKS THEATER PHOTO FRENZY
Although Game of Thrones fans often see Emilia Clarke naked on the show, there’s something about seeing her in the buff on stage that has thrown them into a frenzy. According to the New York Post, Clarke has a nude scene in the Broadway play Breakfast at Tiffany’s and despite Broadway’s strict “no photos” rule, audience members have been flipping out the cellphone cameras with abandon. The show began previews this week, with the opening date set for March 20th, and The Post claims security has been beefed up in order to keep audiences from snagging any more photos. So far none of those pics have turned up on the internet.
SEARS PULLS ONLINE ADS FROM SNL
Sears announced Wednesday they have pulled online ads attached to Saturday Night Live after receiving complaints about the sketch “Djesus Unchained.” The movie-trailer spoof was a send-up of host Christoph Waltz’s Oscar-winning film Django Unchained, but instead of Jamie Foxx’s slave character, it is Jason Sudeikis as Jesus out for revenge. JCPenney had already pulled spots from the show’s online content because of the skit, but both companies deny they’ve abandoned the NBC late night program completely.
LEBRON WEDDING DATE REVEALED
Basketball star Lebron James and fiancée Savannah Brinson have set a wedding date. The couple has sent out Save the Date cards to friends, asking them to keep the weekend of September 13th - 15th free for their wedding in San Diego. TMZ was quick to point out that the celebration falls on the same weekend as the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur. LeBron and Brinson, who have two sons, got engaged on New Year’s Eve, 2011.
JORDAN GETS MARRIAGE LICENSE
In other basketball wedding news…TMZ reports that NBA legend Michael Jordan has applied for a marriage license in Florida. He and girlfriend Yvette Prieto were spotted at the Palm Beach County courthouse on Thursday. They are reportedly set to wed on April 27th. This will be Jordan’s second marriage. He was previously married to Juanita Vanoy for 17 years.
NAKED BROOKE MUELLER PHOTOS BEING SHOPPED
The world may soon get to see Brooke Mueller naked. According to TMZ, someone, allegedly Brooke’s ex-assistant, is trying to sell nude photos of her to the media. Brooke, ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, took the pictures herself as she was getting out of the shower and TMZ says they are not flattering. The site reports that the photos are “kind of like looking at a topographical map of the Rockies.”
JENELLE EVANS’ ESTRANGED HUBBY ARRESTED
While Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans is finally getting herself clean in rehab, her estranged husband Courtland Rogers was busted for assault for attacking her. “They got me…Brunswick County jail I am on my way…write me…sorry I got caught,” he tweeted Tuesday. The arrest is in connection with the assault charges Jenelle filed two months ago. According to the police report, he threw Jenelle against a wall, bashing her head on the wall, and then punching her in the head, back, stomach and legs.
ALI LANDRY EXPECTING THIRD CHILD
Former Miss USA Ali Landry is expecting her third child with husband Alejandro Monteverde. The couple is already parents to daughter Estela Ines, 5, and son Marcelo Alejandro, 17 months.
