The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton showed off her growing baby bump as she visited women recovering from addiction at Action on Addiction’s Hope House treatment center in London on Tuesday. On Monday, Booker Prize-winning author Hilary Mantel caused a bit of controversy when she called Kate a “machine-made” princess, who was “designed by committee.” She described her as “plastic” with a personality equivalent to a “shop window mannequin.” Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron came to Kate’s defense, calling Mantel’s comments “completely misguided and completely wrong.”
