Today is 71st anniversary of Pearl Harbor

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt said this date would "live in infamy" after the bombing of Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.  More than 2400 Americans would die in the attack with an additional 1100 wounded.  Many ships were damaged and 4 US Navy battleships were sunk.  Just a day after the bombing, the US declared war on Japan and entered World War II.
