Old Guard Soldiers honor the fallen one at a time

Ever wonder how cemeteries get decorated with flags?  In some communities, scout troops or elementary school classes adopt a cemetery and decorate it with donated flags.  At Arlington National Cemetery, the members of the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (Old Guard) take on the task every year in the days before Memorial Day. This year, about 1200 Old Guard soldiers placed more than 220,000 flags by hand on the graves at Arlington.
