Teens responsible enough for credit cards?!?!


Kids might be better with money than we used to think.  A new study suggests 19-year-olds are less likely to have a serious default than 40-somethings.  Credit cardholders younger than 21 are overall less likely to fall behind on paying their bills than people who get credit cards later in life.  Experts say there are real benefits to teens getting credit cards.  Namely, it gives them a head start on their financial education.  The experts say youngsters are less likely to get in trouble down the road... I say maybe they just learn from their mistakes earlier!
