Former Altoona police officer Duane Eichenlaub will spend AT LEAST 11 months IN PRISON for BEATING 2 MEN AT PELLEGRINE’S LOUNGE IN ALTOONA 3 YEARS ago…THEN TRYING TO COVER IT UP. BLAIR COUNTY Judge Tim Sullivan sentenced HIM to 11-AND-A-HALF to 23 months, PLUS 3 years of probation. The sentence is less than the normal state guidelines of 3 to 4-and-A-half years for aggravated assault. Eichenlaub MUST report to the Blair County Jail by Friday June 14th.

IN CAMBRIA COUNTY COURT YESTERDAY, SHYTYQUON LAWTON OF Johnstown PLEADED GUILTY TO AGGRAVATED ASSAULT IN THE JUNE SHOOTING OF CARDELL CLINTON OUTSIDE A BAR IN THE OAKHURST SECTION OF TOWN. Clinton was loaded into a vehicle driven by ELIP Cheatham AND HE allegedly did not follow police orders to stop, BUT drOve toward OFFICERS at a high speed. 3 COPS fired at the vehicle, killing Cheatham and grazing the leg of a passenger. THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE determined that the officers used justifiable force. LAWTON WILL SERVE 3 TO 7 YEARS IN PRISON.
