George Strait continues to rack up the hits. Billboard.com says King George's latest single, "Love's Gonna Make It Alright," has cracked the top ten -- and becomes his 85th single to reach the top tier of the Country Songs chart. However, Strait remains at number two on the list of artists with the most top ten country singles. Eddy Arnold leads the way with 92 top ten hits, which he racked up between the years 1945 and 1980. But "Love's Gonna Make It Alright" continues Strait's run of annual top ten country hits. He's placed at least one song in the top ten each year for the past 32 years, starting in 1981 with "Unwound," which peaked at number six.
"Love's Gonna Make It Alright" is from Strait's latest album, "Here for a Good Time." George is currently on the road in support of the disc, sharing the bill with Martina McBride. Their next show is coming up in Atlanta on Friday.
